Handling orders by phone or email and checking the orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers.
Inputting orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
Responsible for all sales aspects of customers' accounts as assigned.
Creation and modification of quotations for assigned accounts.
Coordination of customer orders with Engineering, Production, and Service Departments, including organizing and leading contract reviews.
Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material.
Forecasting likely new orders.
Providing both positive and negative customer feedback; including lost sales.
Participate in cost analysis initiatives as directed by management.
Respond to complaints and inquiries from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
Ensure adherence to commercial export laws, regulations, and policies.
Responsible for following all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to process map, support processes, safety, and environment requirements.
Responsible for assisting with internal, API, & ISO audits.
Responsible for knowing and following the Texas Oil Tools QMS.
Experience/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of sales-related experience in manufacturing.
Basic understanding of manufacturing within the oil and gas industry.
Extensive knowledge of pressure control equipment and parts is preferred.
Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts, customers, and large contracts.
Strong sense of customer focus both internal and external.
Confident and professional when representing the company in person and in writing.
Able to relate effectively with both executives and operators to communicate goals and progress.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Able to adapt to current database software, ERP, in a short period of time.
The position will require travel as necessary.
