Sales Executive
Reporting to the Vice President Eastern Hemisphere, the Sales Executive is a senior-level sales professional responsible for driving business development, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across the Slavic and Turkic language regions, particularly within Eurasia, including former Soviet Union (FSU) countries and Türkiye.
You will have overall responsibility for all sales deliverables, utilizing your advanced consultative selling skills, strategic market engagement, and management of complex sales processes. Your technical understanding of OCTG, drill pipe and BHA inspection, CNC machining, Rig Rope Access and Survey services, Coating and Lining products, emerging technologies (Wired Pipe/RFID), and energy sectors (Geothermal) will serve as a foundation for developing critical product knowledge in line with our sales strategy.
Crucial to this role is your ability to strategically determine customer needs to align NOV's value proposition with current and future expectations. While this role currently has no direct reports, you will effectively manage product lines and coordinate stakeholders throughout the sales process, enhancing performance by combining strategic and tactical insights to convert customer-driven requirements into profitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive development and performance of sales activities in assigned markets
- Provide leadership to ensure maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values
- Develop business plans, sales strategies, and penetration tactics; coordinate with Country Managers to expand customer base and assist in client training
- Lead lead generation, prospecting, and market expansion efforts, including planning and execution of action plans
- Support marketing initiatives and offer market feedback to senior management
- Deliver competitive pricing, ensure accurate sales documentation, and maintain activity records
- Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and RFP responses in collaboration with Technical Support
- Control expenses within budget and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, ethics, and business standards
- Conduct customer visits, offer client office support, and travel as needed to support business objectives
- Support cross-departmental functions and perform additional duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced technical or business degree preferred), or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years' B2B sales experience in oil & gas, energy services, or industrial sectors
- Technical understanding of OCTG, drill pipe and BHA inspection, and tubular integrity solutions
- Proven capability in managing cross-border accounts and business development in emerging markets
- Fluency in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%)
