Consultant Role At Novartis
Advise customers on the product portfolio and services of Novartis using digital and analog channels, taking into account the needs of the professional circles, to expand scientific knowledge, increase awareness of diseases, and ultimately improve patient care and treatment outcomes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Advise and inform regarding the product portfolio and services of Novartis, providing the current, relevant, and authorized data and core messages at the right time, to the right customer, through the right channel to support customer decision-making and optimize therapeutic outcomes in an ethical manner.
- Utilize communication skills in customer interaction and tailor messages and channels to customer and patient needs to best meet customer needs and optimize the customer experience.
- Regularly analyze all available data sources and information, document ongoing insights about the customer in the respective data systems to better personalize content/messages for them.
- Understand and utilize omnichannel customer engagement, effectively and efficiently use individual customer preferences to maximize impact on patients, customers, and the company.
- Responsible for territory and center management and use all available data sources to create, dynamically prioritize, and adjust relevant territory, account, and customer contact plans.
- Implement customer interaction concepts in cross-functional coordination with involved teams from sales, medical, and key account management.
- Continuously share insights gained from customers to support the development of product- and indication-related content, campaigns, and interaction plans. Work closely with geographic and/or cross-functional teams to achieve maximum impact for Novartis with customers.
- Have current knowledge of the industry, therapeutic area, technical information, current studies, competitors, and market situation and focus efforts on the most important customer potentials.
Qualifications for the position include:
- Scientist or trained pharmaceutical representative, PTA, MTA, BTA, CTA
- Knowledge according to §75 Arzneimittelgesetz
- Strong social skills
- Resilience behavior
- Willingness to continuous learning
- Customer and account management, including the use of communication and negotiation skills (customer and patient-oriented conversation)
- Understanding of business insights and data (including technical platform, analytics, and structured thinking) to improve patient benefits
- Management of customer experiences & cross-functional collaboration (internal/external)
- Omnichannel customer engagement (knowledge/platform skills)
- Independent and goal-oriented action
- Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing
- Valid driver's license (Class B or Class 3)
