Sales Representative

The role of a Sales Representative involves advising customers on Novartis products and services, utilizing digital and analog channels, expanding scientific knowledge, raising awareness of diseases, and improving patient care and treatment outcomes.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Independent and competent support and information of stakeholders in the hospital sector (including hematologists/hemato-oncologists, healthcare professionals)
  • Continuous development and maintenance of customer relationships
  • Strategic visit planning and documentation based on account plans
  • Independent area analyses including market and competitive insights and implementation of findings in area support
  • Efficient implementation of marketing strategies in close collaboration with marketing and sales management to achieve sales targets
  • Relationship management with influencers and key opinion leaders and conducting regional events
  • Participation in regional and national congresses and events within the field

What you bring to the position:

  • Successfully completed pharmaceutical representative examination and/or completed studies in the field of human, veterinary or dental medicine or pharmacy or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry's field sales (experience with hospital visits and access to hospitals is desirable)
  • Excellent teamwork skills and experience in building networks
  • Customer-oriented, flexible, and negotiation-savvy
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Good project management skills or planning/organizational skills
  • German and English language skills in speech and writing
  • Driver's license B

What we offer:

The base salary for this position consists of the collective bargaining minimum salary of €63,600 per year (full-time basis) plus any possible overpayment based on your previous experience, qualifications, and individual competencies. We are open to part-time and job-sharing models and support flexible working and home office wherever possible.
