As a Sales Specialist – AI Solutions, you will support the growth of our AI business by working closely with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and develop AI opportunities across existing and new clients. You will act as the AI subject matter specialist in the field, helping translate customer challenges into concrete AI use cases and progressing opportunities into qualified deals. Your focus is on creating momentum in accounts, shaping opportunities, and accelerating deals, while aligning with the broader sales and GTM strategy.

What you will do:

  • Identify and qualify AI opportunities
  • Work alongside Account Managers to detect and develop AI opportunities within their accounts
  • Engage customers to uncover process inefficiencies, automation potential, and data-driven use cases
  • Qualify opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and customer priorities, and turn early-stage discussions into structured, actionable opportunities
  • Translate business needs into AI use cases
  • Define AI and Agentic AI use cases aligned to customer challenges, including process automation, workflow orchestration, AI assistants and copilots, and data-driven insights and decision support
  • Connect use cases to NTT DATA's capabilities across infrastructure, data, and applications, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical possibilities
  • Support deal shaping and progression
  • Contribute to advancing opportunities through discovery sessions and workshops, use case validation, Proof of Concept / Proof of Value (PoC / PoV), and proposal preparation
  • Work with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure credible and scalable solutions, and support Account Managers during negotiation and deal closure
  • Position AI in client conversations
  • Clearly articulate AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support executive discussions by translating AI into business relevance and outcomes, and help customers move from AI interest to concrete initiatives
  • How to help clients to use AI/ML technologies to solve business challenges
  • How to design, develop, deploy, and run high quality AI/ML solutions across a range of industries with varying business and organizational challenges
  • Master the latest technology solutions from industry and how to apply them to solve real world customer problems
  • Collaborate across teams
  • Reporting to the GTM Business lead, you will work closely with Account Managers, Solution Architects, and consulting and delivery teams
  • Act as the link between customer needs and internal capabilities, and provide field feedback to continuously improve AI positioning and offerings

What you bring:

  • Experience 5–10+ years in enterprise sales, pre-sales, or solution consulting
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, with a proven ability to identify and develop opportunities in customer accounts
  • AI & Technical Understanding
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI ecosystems, Agentic AI and automation concepts, data platforms and modern data architectures, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Ability to engage credibly with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Sales & Consulting Skills
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills, ability to translate customer challenges into structured use cases, experience supporting PoC/PoV initiatives and progressing deals, and comfort working in collaborative sales environments
  • Communication
  • Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and structured way, confidence engaging with both operational teams and executives, and strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Languages (Mandatory) Fluent in English, French, and Dutch (Flemish)
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with AI-driven automation or agent-based solutions, familiarity with enterprise IT environments (networking, security, workplace, CX, cloud), and a background in consulting or digital transformation initiatives

  • AI/ML platform technologies and services such as Sagemaker/Vertex/Azure ML, OpenAI, Langchain, AutoML, OCR, STT, feature stores, vector DB, …
  • Implementation of AI/ML architectural patterns and best practices e.g. data drift detection, experimentation tracking, RAG, deployment models
  • Building and using cloud-based solutions (networking, security, storage, monitoring, scaling, DR/HA, …) on one or more cloud platforms. SW Engineering and DevSecOps
  • Bonus point if you…
  • Certified cloud Machine Learning
  • Building PoCs to aid learning
  • Experience of delivering production AI/ML services for scaled end user consumption
