Solution Sales Specialist

Solution Sales Specialist plays a key role in the sales process with technical support, understanding client needs and developing customized solutions. Detailed knowledge of the Digital Infrastructure (DC) business portfolio is required, and the best components are selected to assemble the most suitable technical proposals. The role involves actively participating in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to demonstrate the operation and benefits of proposed systems. It also requires close collaboration with internal engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure successful implementation. Additionally, the role involves monitoring market trends and technological advancements to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales of business solutions/manufacturers/products, including DC technologies, automation, containerization, basic infrastructure (servers, switches, etc.), and observability, among others from manufacturers like DELL, VMWare, NVidia, Cisco, etc.
  • Prepare client presentation materials based on the business portfolio.
  • Develop sales presentations for various events and conferences.
  • Develop sales strategies with the Business Unit Leader.
  • Develop marketing campaigns based on the sales strategy.
  • Provide education to the sales team based on the business portfolio.
  • Maintain references up to date.
  • Participate in organizing business appearances.
  • Client management:
    • Portfolio presentation
    • Assist in proposal preparation
    • Sales administration
    • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
    • Support account manager colleagues
    • Manage sales projects related to the business unit

Job Requirements:

  • Several years of sales experience, at least 3-5 years, in a multinational, corporate environment.
  • IT/Technical sales experience.
  • Strong technical vein, openness to new technologies.
  • Motivated attitude, willingness to learn new techniques, internal desire for colleagues to train and obtain different manufacturer certifications.
  • Proactivity, strong communication, and organizational skills: the new colleague actively participates in organizing professional events and gives presentations to larger audiences.
  • Fluent English, although sales are mostly conducted in Hungarian, active participation is required in regional meetings and international projects occur.
  • B category driver's license.
