Scalable and secure datacenter and multicloud platforms form the foundation for the digital business processes of our customers. To expand our Data Center & Hybrid Cloud business in research, education and healthcare, we are looking for an ambitious and passionate Special Sales Data Center & Hybrid Cloud in the segment research, education and healthcare (m/f/d) nationwide. You will work in our Go to Market Special Sales Team and advise our customers in the segment research, education and healthcare on future-proof hybrid cloud and data center solutions as well as AI infrastructures as the basis for the successful digital transformation. The primary goal of the Special Sales Data Center & Hybrid Cloud (m/f/d) is to win qualified opportunities and new sales contacts, as well as to expand relationships in existing contractual relationships. You bring your sales and technical expertise to inspire customers with our solutions and services and to win them for NTT.

What you'll be doing:

  • You work in an overlay sales function as a driving and active unit with the responsible client manager or independently directly with customers.
  • Identification and building of sales channels and active development of existing customers towards our data center portfolio.
  • Building and maintaining a continuous and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Development and implementation of data center go to market strategies and initiatives for targeted market development.
  • Active marketing of our data center, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure as well as hosting and co-location solutions and service portfolios.

What you bring with you:

  • A technical or commercial degree or equivalent training and extensive project and consulting experience in comparable roles and at least 5-7 years of experience.
  • Extensive sales experience in complex, cross-sector projects of leading data center technology manufacturers familiar with the latest IT technologies/trends with corresponding market and competitive knowledge. Experience in the data center hosting and co-location market is an advantage.
  • Successful handling of public contracting authorities as well as the associated knowledge in the field of regulatory affairs.
  • The ability to identify and understand complex business and IT requirements and to derive solution approaches from them and to present their benefits.
  • Resilience, well-structured and independent working style; team capability.
  • High customer orientation and communication skills as well as convincing through innovation strength, self-assured behavior and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Hands-on mentality coupled with sales affinity.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
