As a Business Development Representative at NTT DATA Business Solutions, you play a key role in growing our client portfolio. This role is the perfect stepping stone for when you want to grow into a role in Sales – you lay the foundation, learn the market from the inside out, and build the skills to later close deals yourself in our Sales team. Besides, you will join a team with experienced colleagues where you can learn a lot, and young talent who also do fun things together outside of work – a good mix in which you grow quickly and enjoy your work.

What will you do?

In this role you combine lead generation, consultative selling, and relationship building. You are the first link in the commercial process of new customer relationships – someone who sees and creates opportunities. You generate leads and follow up on leads from campaigns, events, and online channels and make sure they grow into real sales opportunities. With your curiosity, guts, and personal approach, you know exactly when to listen, ask questions, and convince.

Concreet betekent dat:

  • Market- en doelgroepanalyse: onderzoeken van marktsegmenten, het in kaart brengen van beslissers en het identificeren van de juiste contactpersonen binnen target accounts.
  • Lead generation: actief benaderen van prospects via o.a. e-mail, telefoon, LinkedIn en het opvolgen van leads uit campagnes, events en andere inbound-kanalen.
  • Kwalificeren: ontdekken waar de behoefte ligt, leads kwalificeren en ze na een succesvolle discovery call doorzetten naar de Sales Executives.
  • Afstemmen & overdragen: inplannen van afspraken met gekwalificeerde prospects en zorgen voor een soepele overdracht naar Sales, zodat zij direct kunnen aansluiten op jouw gesprekken.
  • Nurturing: onderhouden van leads in de pipeline en precies weten wanneer je ze kunt activeren.
  • Samenwerken: met het Marketing & Sales-team aan gerichte campagnes, accountbenaderingen en slimme nurture follow-ups.
  • Market insights: vertalen van trends naar creatieve outreach-strategieën en laten zien hoe onze technologie direct waarde toevoegt aan het proces van de klant.

What do you bring?

  • Completed HBO or WO education.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial or customer-facing role (B2B experience is a plus).
