We are currently seeking a Sales Executive - Federal Law Enforcement (FLE) to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will have responsibility for driving the identification, development, and capture of IT Solution opportunities within the Federal Law Enforcement community. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting market assessment and strategic planning and will have played a demonstrated hands-on role in net-new revenue attainment. The individual should have strong communication skills with the ability to consult effectively with Federal Law Enforcement (FLE) clients and contractor community representatives at all levels.

Only those candidates with some experience successfully selling to and/or supporting Federal Law Enforcement agencies will be considered.

The ideal candidate will possess the following: Existing relationships within Federal Law Enforcement (FLE) community; Experience managing business development and/or delivery efforts; Solid knowledge of the competitive landscape, including an understanding of key contract vehicles used; Established relationships with relevant FLE clients and potential teaming partners; Experience supporting different aspects of the sales lifecycle including opportunity identification, qualification, account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting processes.

Ability to partner with alliance/channel partners to craft and support the sale of solutions; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Experience creating and providing inputs for proposal content; Ability to create and communicate value propositions and engage Federal Government clients consultatively.

Job Level Specific Duties & Skills:

  • Oversees and manages the pipeline of qualified new business opportunities in line with NTT DATA's overall sales and growth strategy.
  • Identifies and researches top opportunities, developing detailed capture and strategies driving sufficient demand to meet annual quotas/targets.
  • Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA's service/digital offerings and understanding of DHS' business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions that successfully sell the organization's service offerings/capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build sales forecasts, establish priorities and keep cross-functional teams focused on sales goals.
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Strong influencing, presentation, and professional sales skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of Sales/Business Development experience
    • Less experience will be considered based on demonstrated success record or can be substituted for years spent supporting a Federal Law Enforcement agency(ies).
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience supporting/developing relationships within the Federal Law Enforcement portfolio of agencies, e.g. DEA, FBI, DHS, IRS, DOJ, ATF, USMS, etc.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance.
