Solution Sales Specialist

A Solution Sales Specialist, Digital Infrastructure plays a key role in the sales process with technical support, understanding customer needs and developing tailored solutions. They have a detailed understanding of the Digital Infrastructure business portfolio and select the most appropriate elements for technical proposals. Their role is to develop innovative, future-proof solutions that meet long-term customer expectations and technological advancements.

They actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical consultations, where they demonstrate the operation and benefits of proposed systems. They work closely with internal engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure successful implementation. They also continuously monitor market trends and technological innovations to support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the sales of business solutions/manufacturers/products
  • Selling DC technologies
  • DC automation, containerization, and basic infrastructure (servers, switches, etc.), including solutions from Dell, VMware, NVidia, Cisco, and other manufacturers
  • Preparing client presentation materials based on the business portfolio
  • Creating and delivering presentations at various events and conferences
  • Developing business sales strategies with the business area leader
  • Designing marketing campaigns based on the sales strategy
  • Conducting training for the sales area based on the business portfolio
  • Keeping references up to date
  • Participating in organizing business appearances
  • Managing clients:
    • Portfolio presentation
    • Assisting in proposal preparation
    • Sales administration
    • Identifying upsell/xsell opportunities
    • Providing professional support to account manager colleagues
    • Managing sales projects related to the business area

Job requirements/expectations:

  • Several years of sales experience, at least 3-5 years, in a multinational, corporate environment
  • IT/Technical sales experience
  • Strong technical vein, openness to new things
  • Motivated attitude, willingness to learn new techniques, internal desire for colleagues to train themselves or obtain different manufacturer certifications
  • Proactivity, strong communication, and organizational skills: the new colleague actively participates in organizing professional events and gives presentations to larger audiences
  • Fluent English language skills, although sales are conducted in Hungarian, regional meetings actively participate and international projects occur
  • Category B driver’s license
