Basic Job Functions:

The role of District Sales Manager (DSM) includes but is not limited to executing on the product group and enterprise-wide strategy within the assigned territory in order to maximize Nucor's profitability through collaboration with Sales, Production and Technical personnel. This position requires extensive travel on a weekly basis in order to take care of Nucor customers. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or related field
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience or successful completion of Nucor's DDSM program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Steel and insulated panel experience
  • Insulated panel sales experience
