Basic Job Functions

•The inside sales representative will work cooperatively with our team to manage customer accounts, create new customer accounts, and develop existing customer opportunities.

•This position will require coordinating with outside sales, production, shipping, mill leadership and metallurgist to sell product and service customers.

•This position will need to provide appropriate pricing and availability to customers on inquiries, while also entering orders timely and accurately with attention to detail.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

•Five+ years customer service experience or a bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

•Bachelors degree in Business or related field

•Merchant bar quality/rebar product knowledge

•Prior sales experience in manufacturing environment
