Partnership Development Manager

Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business: Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast's global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Xumo Enterprise provides tools and services for content creators, distributors, and advertisers to make FAST content more accessible.

Identify, develop, and manage partnerships such as revenue partners, data, measurement, AI, and technology solutions that unlock new capabilities for Xumo. This person will be instrumental in cross collaborating with different departments to ensure seamless integration, enablement, and activation of partner solutions.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and evaluating new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and/or joint ventures.
  • Building detailed financial models and structures to evaluate business.
  • Responsible for hitting revenue targets for book-of-business by prospecting, selling, and driving revenue growth.
  • Identifying areas where external partnership is needed and defining how to best set up partnership structures.
  • Setting performance metrics and operating agreement structure and evaluating performance throughout.
  • Providing insight into customer challenges, needs, and opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, engineering, customer success, and sales leadership.
  • Serving as an escalation point for key customer issues around pricing and commercial agreements.
  • Providing and executing on feedback regarding new product additions and existing product definition.
  • Completing required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, and call expense reports.
  • Carrying out regular and robust monitoring of projects to ensure quality delivery of outputs and activities.
  • Reporting on the outcomes and impact of partners and projects internally to assist with program development.
  • Sales travel is involved when needed.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Drafting business plans and deal summaries as needed.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary: Primary Location Pay Range: $141,508.79 - $212,263.18 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later. Targeted Commission: $52,500.00 Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Additionally, Comcast provides best-in-class Benefits to eligible employees.

Education: Bachelor's Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
