Defense Sales Representative

Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a highly driven and relationship-focused Defense Sales Representative to expand our presence within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Federal sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage deep experience in defense operations, program management, and strategic partnership building to identify new opportunities, develop client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

• Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities within DoD, Cyber, and Intelligence markets.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior government, military, and industry stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into tailored solutions that align with customer mission needs.
• Lead opportunity development from initial contact through proposal and contract award.
• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape proposals, pricing strategies, and solution design.
• Represent the company at government and industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
• Maintain awareness of competitor activities, emerging technologies, and acquisition trends.
• Prepare executive briefings, pipeline reports, and strategic growth recommendations.

Education/Experience/Skillset Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 years' experience in defense, intelligence, or cyber operations OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in identifying and developing new partnerships across agencies.

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Travel Required: 25% - 50% AA / Disability / Veteran US Salary Range: $134,686 - $165,650

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
