This position reports to: Sales Manager

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. The Regional Sales Manager will direct and manage multiple sales channels supporting the Power Protection business to ensure growth targets are attained for all products, services & solutions in the specified region. In this role, you will manage independent representative agents (iReps), value added resellers (VARS) and direct end user (data center) accounts for optimal performance and growth.

The work model for the role is: remote with ability to travel regularly.

Your role and responsibilities:

Drive regional sales strategy: Lead development and execution of strategies to secure profitable orders for UPS, STS, and PDU products, ensuring compliance with ABB risk review processes and annual order goals.

Account & channel management: Execute detailed account plans with iReps, VARs, and key end-users (e.g., data centers); collaborate with ABB sales teams, channel partners, and contractors to grow top-line revenue.

Customer & partner engagement: Build strategic relationships with decision-makers, act as the voice of the customer, and communicate ABB objectives, priorities, and product roadmaps to partners.

Forecasting & operational alignment: Own order accuracy and forecasting; support complex contract negotiations; align with Product Leaders and Customer Support to meet customer CTQs and optimize ITO/OTR processes.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or advanced Business degree preferred with 8+ years' relevant work experience including thorough understanding of the data center market OR Associates Degree in Engineering or Relevant Education/Certifications with 10+ years' relevant work experience including thorough understanding of the data center market with 2+ years working directly with data center market OR 12+ years' relevant work experience including thorough understanding of the data center market with 4+ years working directly with data center market. Thorough understanding of customer base and channel in assigned region with strong knowledge of the electrical power industry Attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, ability to learn, good interpersonal skills and results oriented and strong communicator: must be able to communicate effectively at all business levels, including customer management Extremely strong written and verbal communications skills and excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office essentials & Salesforce.com Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
