This important leadership position reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, North America, is responsible for leading a dynamic hunting new business team and growing new market share for Agfa HealthCare's full portfolio of healthcare products in the United States.
Developing and maintaining a business plan with an associated strategy and tactical plan to achieve annual and quarterly sales goals in the US market.
Direct management of field sales staff, budget, forecasting, prospecting, and account strategy.
Achieve attainment of sales quota and business objectives for the growth of new name account sales.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline that reflects appropriate sales stage metrics and prospect migration in alignment with target market segments and annual sales plan.
Drive adherence to company-defined sales process and cadence with operating mechanisms.
Collaborate with colleagues across functional areas to create and present requests for information, requests for proposals, budgetary quotes, and negotiate contracts.
Build meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and to assist in reference-based promotion of the company's product and service.
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the company, product, and generate sales leads.
Demonstrate and continuously improve healthcare industry knowledge through participation in applicable healthcare industry associations, company-provided training, and industry education.
Provide relevant feedback to assist the company's product leadership with investments in the research and development roadmap to improve competitive position and market share.
Maintain corporate-level relationships with established regional and national IDNs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and technology sales, preferably in enterprise IT and/or digital diagnostic systems along with an understanding of the market and competitive landscape. The candidate must have a proven track record in sales as a hunter profile and sales leadership in new business development.
A proven track record with 10+ years of successful enterprise healthcare information technology sales experience focused on capturing new business in the Healthcare IT Marketplace.
