Sales Executive – Commercial Health Insurance

Location: Tulsa, OK Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 base salary + commission

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Executive to join our client's growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business in their commercial health insurance line, marketing and selling to employer groups of all sizes. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with external brokers, consultants, and business leaders while representing the brand throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market and sell the company's commercial health insurance products to small, mid-size, and large employer groups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and general agents to drive new business.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across all group segments through networking and consultative selling.
  • Provide strategic sales support and training to distribution partners on products and competitive positioning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, broker meetings, and networking functions.
  • Lead the sales process from proposal to signed agreement and employee enrollment, ensuring smooth onboarding.
  • Conduct employee benefit education and enrollment meetings for new and renewing clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, broker interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and sales program guidelines.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance required. Must pass a Health Care Sanctions background check and MVR check. Fluent in written and spoken English.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health insurance or commercial sales—experience in the group employer market strongly preferred.
  • Must hold a valid Oklahoma Life and Health Insurance License, or be able to obtain one within 45 days of hire.
