What You'll Do As our Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for the full sales lifecycle, from building your team to celebrating their wins. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Select, train, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual new business goals.
  • Performance Management: Set clear sales quotas, provide regular feedback, and conduct field evaluations and reviews to ensure your team's success.
  • Strategic Development: Oversee and update our sales training programs, and develop processes that drive efficiency and growth.
  • Personal Sales Objectives: Meet and exceed your own personal sales targets while leading your team.
  • CRM Management: Take ownership of our Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring it is used effectively to track and grow sales.
  • Barrier Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that may prevent your team from reaching their full potential.
  • Market Research: Stay current on industry trends and best practices to incorporate new ideas and grow our organization.
  • Collaboration: Assist with large account renewals and work with other departments to ensure a smooth sales and client experience.

  • Relationship Building: A natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both your team and our clients.
  • Problem-Solving: The aptitude to grasp complex projects, see the big picture, and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and utilize technology to work efficiently.
  • Professional Demeanor: A warm, friendly, and positive attitude that represents City Wide well to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of two years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in a service-based industry.
  • A minimum of two years of experience managing a sales team with a focus on account management (prospecting, selling, growing, and retaining accounts).
  • A proven track record of success in managing sales professionals and a professional presence with strong consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software like Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to successfully complete a background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
