Sales Leader

If you are a seasoned sales professional with vision and passion for the healthcare industry, you cannot afford to overlook this unique opportunity – an exciting, gratifying position offering amazing growth and income potential.

As a Sales Leader, you will generate your income by farming and nurturing medium and large-market clients. Through the 1.800MD platform, you will help our prospects and clients reduce costs and improve outcomes for their employees.

You will present 1.800MD's comprehensive solutions to HR/Benefits decision-makers within corporations having between 500- 8,000 employees. Your will have a large geographic territory to ensure your success.

Given the ground-breaking nature of 1.800MD's platform, you will be enabling your clients and their employees to achieve excellence in virtual healthcare solutions. You'll play an educational role, introducing your clients to a compelling new approach to virtual care, that includes Telemedicine, Behavioral Health, Lab Testing, Wellness Coaching, Medical Bill Negotiation, etc., which will help them reduce costs and improve the health of their employees/members.

Your Impact:

  • Create a personal sales strategy/business plan that supports 1.800MD's overarching corporate goals and strategies
  • Independently identify new sales opportunities; research target opportunities, generate account leads, and build a robust pipeline
  • Manage prospects through phone calls, webinars, in person meetings and travel
  • Build strong customer relationships with Consultants/Brokers and the HR/Benefits leadership within medium and large corporate employers
  • Understand 1.800MD's direct competitors and how we differentiate with our offering
  • Build and maintain a deep and comprehensive familiarity with 1.800MD's offerings and future product enhancements
  • Continue to grow and become an expert on the Virtual Healthcare environment and work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Manage all RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and terms, with the support of sales leadership and legal, through complicated contracting process
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Experience working with MGAs, MGUs, Insurance Brokers, and Consultants preferred.
  • Experience effectively running a multi-state territory closing 500 – 8,000 employee employers
  • Strong prospecting, cold-calling, lead generation and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales quota
  • Demonstrated trend of increasing sales through outstanding sales results and leadership
  • Skilled delivery of engaging, compelling sales and product presentations, in medium and large group settings
  • Robust time management skills and strong ability to manage a pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills including presenting, speaking, writing, and follow up
