Principal Consulting Presales Professional

As a Principal Consulting Presales professional, you will play a strategic role in driving the growth and success of Oracle's ERP Consulting Services business across the EMEA region. Acting as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal stakeholders, you will help shape and position transformational ERP solutions that combine Oracle Cloud Applications, implementation expertise, and post-go-live services.

This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, consulting, and sales strategy. You will partner closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Consulting Delivery, and Customer Success teams to support customers throughout their cloud transformation journey — from discovery and solution design through to implementation strategy and long-term value realization.

The ideal candidate combines strong ERP implementation expertise with commercial awareness, storytelling ability, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse cultures and organizations.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering Oracle ERP Cloud implementations and/or ERP consulting engagements.
  • Strong functional understanding of Oracle ERP processes and modules, with expertise in one or more ERP solution areas.
  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformation programs and customer-facing consulting engagements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into compelling solution strategies and implementation approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in presales, solution consulting, or advisory roles.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), integrations, or AI capabilities.
  • Familiarity with post-go-live support models, managed services, or customer success frameworks.

Responsibilities

Sales & Presales Leadership:

  • Support and drive Oracle ERP consulting opportunities across Continental Europe.
  • Partner with Consulting Sales, License Sales, Solution Engineering, and Delivery teams to position integrated Oracle ERP Cloud solutions aligned to customer business and technical objectives.
  • Lead customer-facing presales engagements including discovery workshops, solution strategy discussions, architecture sessions, demonstrations, and executive presentations.
  • Help customers define transformation roadmaps covering implementation, adoption, optimization, and post-go-live managed services.

Solution Design & Consulting:

  • Design scalable, secure, and integrated ERP solution architectures aligned with Oracle best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Position Oracle's AI capabilities — including Generative AI and AI Agent Studio — to modernize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses by developing compelling solution content, implementation approaches, effort estimations, and architecture recommendations.
  • Build and present demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and value-driven solution narratives showcasing Oracle ERP and consulting capabilities.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Consulting Delivery, and Customer Success teams to ensure solutions are feasible, deliverable, and aligned with Oracle's product strategy.
  • Contribute to opportunity qualification, technical risk assessments, and competitive positioning throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer executives, business leaders, IT stakeholders, integration teams, and transformation sponsors.

Thought Leadership & Innovation:

  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud technologies, AI innovation, industry trends, and ERP transformation best practices.
  • Contribute reusable assets, technical collateral, reference architectures, and presales best practices to the wider Oracle consulting community.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring alignment between customer business goals and Oracle capabilities.
