Oracle Financial Services Portfolio (Overview)

You will lead a specialist sales team with a portfolio that typically spans:

  • Core banking and digital experience: core modernization; digital onboarding and servicing; omnichannel experience; digital banking capabilities
  • Risk, finance, and performance management: enterprise risk; credit risk; ALM/treasury-related analytics; finance transformation; profitability and performance insights
  • Revenue Management and Billing: make right pricing decisions, efficiently invoice customers, and accurately track balances
  • Financial crime and compliance: AML; sanctions screening; fraud and financial crime analytics; case management; regulatory reporting support
  • Data, analytics, and decisioning for financial services: governed data foundations; real-time insights; advanced analytics/AI adoption; decision automation aligned to banking use cases
  • Cloud adoption and modernization: migration and modernization pathways, including hybrid approaches and security/compliance-aligned architectures

If we add Oracle Cloud Sovereign deployment options to the Oracle Financial Services portfolio, it creates a very unique value proposition that the GCC banks will be very interested by.

  • Modernizing legacy cores and customer platforms to enable faster product launches and digital-first servicing
  • Building trusted, governed data foundations to power AI, personalization, risk intelligence, and operational automation
  • Strengthening financial crime, risk, and regulatory resilience as scrutiny and complexity increase
  • Driving efficiency and standardization through cloud services and industry-aligned capabilities, while meeting security and compliance requirements

What You'll Do

This is a sales leadership position for a growing sales specialist team. Your key business priority will be to strongly accelerate the SaaS growth and sustain growth for our On Premise offerings by establishing and executing a strategy to:

  • Expand the existing SaaS & On Premise install base within financial services accounts
  • Modernize and transform existing Oracle customers to newer cloud and platform capabilities aligned to industry outcomes
  • Win net-new strategic accounts, including competitive displacement where relevant
  • Scale through a very strong alignment and governance with the Account Executives dedicated to Financial Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Financial Services Sales Specialists including recruiting, hiring, and training on the Oracle sales process
  • Sell and promote Oracle Financial Services solutions; lead negotiations (pricing, concessions, terms and conditions) in alignment with company policy
  • Yearly Business Plan: develop and execute a plan to lead Oracle Financial Services industry solutions in the region
  • Collaborate closely with Regional VPs and Account Executives to drive integrated account strategies and executive alignment
  • Territory Management: define target segments (Tier 1/2 banks, digital challengers, corporate banks, etc.), ICPs, and coverage plays by country
  • Personnel Development: recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing specialist sales team
  • Sales Incentive Planning: manage team quota achievement and operating cadence
  • Generate Demand: build senior executive relationships across CIO/CTO, COO, CDO, CRO, Head of Compliance/Financial Crime, CFO/Finance Transformation, and business heads
  • Ecosystem Leadership: mobilize product, partners, presales, and business development to maximize coverage and sales efficiency
  • Strategic Sales: personally engage in the most strategic deals to maximize conversion and executive sponsorship
  • Pipeline and Forecast Management: maintain disciplined qualification and accurate forecasting
  • Customer Relationship Management and Referenceability: drive strong outcomes from sale through delivery partnership and create customer advocates
  • Business Practice Management: ensure adherence to Oracle policy on pricing, approvals, and contracting

Required Skills / Experience (What You'll Bring)

  • Sales leadership: proven tenure and stability leading cloud/software sales specialists in a sophisticated solutions environment
  • Strong background in enterprise applications and/or industry solutions; financial services domain expertise strongly preferred
  • First-line management experience managing applications/solutions sales reps
  • Financial management: proven ability to manage sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts
  • Sales acumen: track record of delivering consistent sales success (e.g., $5–10m+ per year depending on market scope)
  • Industry knowledge: significant business software experience either vendor sales or consulting sales
  • Network and reputation: strong network of strategic business and IT relationships in financial services
  • Cloud experience: several years experience in cloud business applications/platform-led selling
  • Business planning: demonstrated ability to articulate a strategy and plan based on financial objectives, territory planning, and marketing alignment
