The Sr. Inside Sales Associate performs sales functions at the branch selling products to current customers, identifying, and developing new prospects, and customer service functions. The Sr. Inside Sales Associate works as part of a branch team to service customers with their daily needs and grow sales. Desired sales experience or applicable product knowledge: building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware; Do-It-Yourself retail; construction; mechanical/electrical.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred or high school graduate with experience equivalent. A minimum of 5-8+ years inside sales experience. Required Skills / Abilities: Strong Sales and customer service focus. Strong knowledge of all products offered at the branch. Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the branch. Ability to multitask and handle time sensitive information. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written). Excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to act with integrity and professionalism. Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, etc. Expert proficiency experience with order entry / ERP / CRM systems.
