The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for managing and supporting LaCrosse, Danner, and White's products to all retail customers within an assigned territory. Essential functions of the position include: managing the relationship between LaCrosse Footwear INC. and our retailers and distributors, consulting retailers and distributors on the product, marketing, and operational advantages of the LaCrosse, Danner, and White's brands, managing inventories through sell through information and/or store visits, providing inventory solutions based on sell through information and customer needs, arranging and directing delivery of product, contacting regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders, estimating or quoting prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates, negotiating details of contracts and payments and preparing sales contracts and order forms, identifying prospective customers by attending trade shows, recommending products to customers, based on customers' business needs and interests, consulting with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support, negotiating with retail merchants to improve products exposure such as shelf positioning and advertising, performing administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports, monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, planning, assembling, and stocking product displays in retail stores, or making recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising, and training customers' employees on the features of LaCrosse, Danner, and White's products.
