OTC Flow continues its journey towards becoming the market leader in the environmental commodity sector. We are actively seeking sales brokers to join our expanding sales trading team based in Amsterdam.
OTC Flow is a leading environmental commodity trading company with offices in Amsterdam and Paris. We provide trading liquidity in a broad range of financial-environmental instruments.
Our mission is to provide our global partners with access to renewable energy markets and to assist them in achieving their sustainability goals in an informed and intelligent way. Our network of partners is ever-growing and includes key players in the industrial, (semi)-governmental, and utility space.
In your role as a sales broker, your main focus is to build your own client portfolio and provide strategic trade solutions to support your clients in meeting their environmental compliance objectives. You will actively engage in outreach and prospecting through cold calling and client meetings. Working closely with experienced sales traders and being supported with a variety of training sessions, along with close engagement in your professional development, OTC Flow enables your growth in knowledge and skills to become successful in this field.
Main responsibilities include:
- Proactively build your client portfolio through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking;
- Communicate with clients through phone, online and face-to-face meetings to understand their business needs;
- Identify trade opportunities and support in executing them;
- Serve as the primary source of information for your contacts;
- Provide daily pricing and insights to market actors through messaging systems;
- Monitor markets and stay updated on financial news and developments;
- Stay informed about the products being traded and current on new products and procedures;
- Be responsible for achieving your own revenue (PnL) target;
- Promote OTC Flow's services to increase the company's market share.
About you:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field;
- Experience: 1-2+ years in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing roles, preferably within commodities, energy markets, or environmental sectors;
- Sales Acumen: Natural ability to sell, negotiate, and close deals, with a strong focus on building long-term client relationships;
- Proactive & Resilient: Self-driven and comfortable with cold calling and outreach to potential clients, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
- Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to work under pressure and stay focused in a high-performance, ever-changing market;
- Native-level proficiency in French; excellent communication in English is required.
