Your Role
This position will report to, learn from, and work alongside an Enterprise Account Executive, and will carry its own list of accounts. The Associate AE is responsible for interacting with key buying agencies and direct accounts to deliver advertising solutions.
An Associate Account Executive must be a high energy, strategic thinker with exceptional prospecting skills, and a willingness to follow a structured solution selling process. Motivated by identifying and solving problems on behalf of the customer but remains focused on delivering revenue against annual sales targets. The Associate Account Executive's list and responsibilities will grow as team grows.
Your Responsibilities
- Uncover, identify and grow account opportunities.
- Properly qualify prospects to maximize an efficient sales cycle.
- Develop and foster customer relationships that drive new business, renewals, and up-sells to the client.
- Master inventory knowledge in the top DMAs for both Outdoor and Transit assets.
- Select OUTFRONT Media assets to amplify clients' campaigns, products and brand stories.
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge, industry news, and market expertise.
- Communicate effectively to groups of all sizes and levels of management, up to C-Level and Senior Agency positions
- Up-sell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships.
- Develop and deliver custom sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Choreograph and conduct on-site assessments of customer requirements and needs.
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments (e.g., Marketing, Creative, Research teams) to achieve objectives and optimize revenue through strategic and creative means.
- Partner with Charting, Creative, Operations and Administrative staff to ensure on time delivery of advertisements in agreed upon locations.
- Resolve client inquires by involving appropriate resources.
- Manage and complete buying agency RFP's in a timely manner.
- Establish a strong working relationship with National Account Executives, Sales Planners and Coordinators.
- Become a functional expert in the OUTFRONT mobile platform to include mobile products on all National RFPs.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in OOH advertising, media sales, or related sales position.
- Ability to work successfully under tight project deadlines.
- Ability to communicate OUTFRONT's unique selling proposition in a compelling, concise manner and to balance the company's overall business objectives with the client's strategic needs.
- Mastery of existing OUTFRONT business processes as well as the ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues in a time-critical environment.
- Self-motivated, standout colleague; action- and results-oriented.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Course of study in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or related field of study is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong analytic capabilities, including the capacity to learn proprietary IT systems.
- Goal-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and enthusiastic about the media and OOH industries.
- Eager to work in a dynamic, high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
The draw range for this role is $71,000-$75,000 per year. This role is also eligible for commission. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
