This role will focus primarily on continued development of the US Programmatic Market, which consistently observes record-breaking growth: You will work and build off of the foundation set by our current programmatic team to scale its strategy and approach across sales, marketing, ad ops and data.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced programmatic sales specialist to add to our growing team. You’ll be required to handle programmatic demand partners such as client in-house teams and agencies. You’ll liaise with sales and ad operations to ensure campaigns are set up for growth and success. This role will report into the Head of Programmatic Sales.

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Be motivated, resourceful, tenacious, persuasive, and compelling
  • Shadow calls with advertisers to build relationships and understand needs
  • Monitor key campaign metrics like reach and click-through rates
  • Be self-motivated to prospect through researching and analyzing data points, and translate these opportunities to closed business
  • Assist team in building, targeting, pacing, and optimizing programmatic campaigns

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Work with Head of Programmatic US Sales to ensure programmatic is evangelized across the org and that the direct sales team feels enabled to continue to sell programmatic
  • Have a team-oriented mindset and work in tandem with US sales reps to consult and support programmatic growth within their practice, by identifying advertisers in their lists and generating new business, while growing existing partnerships
  • Offer white glove customer service by working closely with account management to maximize campaign performance, spend, and renewal business
  • Prepare and conduct sales presentations to key clients at all levels
  • Meet daily with the sales team to align on priorities and opportunities
  • Prepare performance reports for advertisers, highlighting wins and areas for improvement
  • Develop expertise in niche audience targeting to improve campaign efficiency

Within 12 months, you will:

  • Achieve revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis and manage a pipeline across a set list of category-based account verticals
  • Manage programmatic campaigns across various goals and verticals independently
  • Become trusted advisor for key advertisers on scaling programmatic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to grow and enhance our programmatic offerings
  • Identify what buyers and advertisers are bidding on Outside inventory, and move them up the value chain and into upper funnel tactics

What YOU bring to Outside: (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 5+ years’ experience in the digital media sales space with a track record of strong performance
  • Previous experience in programmatic, data, DSPs, SSPs, or DMPs
  • Experience driving results and growth in line with company objectives and goals
  • Demonstrated success launching large-scale, programmatic campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 2+ years experience in programmatic advertising, ad operations role is a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, organization, time management and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

For remote jobs that can be performed in Colorado : Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $75,000 to $125,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more. The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors
