The Analyst, Sales Strategy plays a critical role in guiding data informed sales decisions by analyzing content availability and clearance, tracking sales deals, and evaluating market trends and performance. This role serves as a key liaison between the sales team and cross functional support teams, ensuring accurate deal execution, clear communication, and compelling storytelling through insights and presentations.

The ideal candidate combines robust analytical skills with business acumen and the ability to present complex information in a clear, visually engaging way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee content availability and clearance, ensuring precise alignment with sales opportunities and contractual requirements.
  • Track and manage licensing deals and change orders in Salesforce, maintaining data integrity, timely updates, and visibility across teams.
  • Perform deal-level analysis, evaluating financial performance, market trends, and content sales effectiveness.
  • Analyze historical sales data to identify patterns, risks, and growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights to Sales.
  • Monitor market and industry trends to support strategic sales planning and content positioning.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales and support teams (deal management, legal, finance, content operations), ensuring smooth deal execution and issue resolution.
  • Create visually compelling presentations that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and performance summaries to internal stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc strategic initiatives, reporting, and special projects as needed to drive sales effectiveness and revenue growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales strategy, sales analytics, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for deal tracking and reporting.
  • Proven ability to assess large data sets and translate findings into clear business insights.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and support teams.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and deal economics.
  • Exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint / Google Slides, with an eye for design and data visualization.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel preferred.
