We are looking for an ambitious and strategic Account Executive with a genuine passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of weather, data, and business. Your mission

As an Account Executive, your mission is to drive our growth by helping businesses solve one of their most unpredictable challenges: the weather. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing. You are not just selling a product; you are a consultant, helping clients understand how to turn weather from an unpredictable risk into a predictable, financial advantage by leveraging their modern cloud data platforms.

What is the day to day look like

Own the full sales cycle: Proactively identify, engage, and close new business opportunities in our key verticals: Utilities, Retail, Restaurants, Agriculture, and Insurance.

Become a cloud ecosystem expert: Master the art of selling data and analytics solutions within modern cloud environments like Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.

Partner to win: Collaborate closely with our Product and Solutions Engineering teams to understand customer needs, architect compelling solutions, and ensure a seamless post-sales handover.

Build a robust pipeline: Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, with a focus on accurate forecasting and consistent execution.

Be the voice of the customer: Bring real-world market feedback back to the product and marketing teams to help shape our future roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

We are hoping you bring

Proven sales excellence & "hunter" mentality: 5+ years of experience in a B2B sales role with a consistent track record of exceeding quota. You are an excellent hunter who knows how to build a strong pipeline from the ground up.

A passion for the problem: You are genuinely curious about the weather's impact on the economy and are excited by the challenge of selling a solution that provides clarity in a chaotic environment. An interest or experience in weather, climate, or geospatial data is a significant plus.

C-suite relationship builder: You are skilled at engaging with executives and senior stakeholders, establishing trust, and guiding complex, consultative sales processes.

Cloud data expertise: Demonstrable experience selling data, analytics, or SaaS solutions that integrate with major cloud data platforms (Snowflake, GCP, Azure, Databricks). You must be comfortable speaking the language of the modern data stack.

Industry expert: Deep domain expertise, a strong professional network, and a clear understanding of the trends and market dynamics in at least one of our key verticals

Strong business acumen: Commercially savvy with a solutions-oriented mindset; able to quickly understand a client's business model and articulate PWS's differentiated value.

Strategic & analytical: Adept at building go-to-market strategies, extracting insights from data (Excel proficiency required), and translating macro trends into actionable client recommendations.

Entrepreneurial & driven: Proactive, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity; you are eager to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile to deliver results.

Location: You are based in the United States and are able to travel as needed across North America.
