Location: Ebensburg, PA - Payrate: $50,000 per year - Schedule: Day Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday

What will you be doing?

A large manufacturer with locations in Johnstown and Ebensburg is seeking a Mining and Industrial Salesman to obtain production work for employees with disabilities, develop a customer base and marketing strategy to meet the Agency's business plan. This company manufactures a wide variety of high-quality hooks, hangers, and innovative products for customers worldwide. The sales of products helps support services to more than 500 persons with disabilities.

Makes arrangements and appointments for business contacts that include end users and distributors to obtain production work for employees with disabilities. This includes potential new customers as well as existing customers. Trips will frequently consist of training sessions for customers. Frequent overnight trips are required. General expectation is 50% travel.

Coordinates trip and trade show attendance with Sales Manager and other sales team to ensure efficient and frequent visits to customer base. Responsible for attendance and exhibiting at trade shows, including registration, booth set up, completion of forms, manage shipping/freight of trade show materials to and from shows. Monitors and maintains appropriate supplies of literature and samples. Participates in new marketing material development, including brochures, web content, trade show displays, etc.

In office work includes timely follow up on all leads from phone calls, email, and website submissions. Also involves establishing appointments for future trips. Completes all trip agendas and Expense/trip reports. Timely notification to Sales Manager and Secretary of trip agendas for inclusion in salesman calendar. Maintains attendance in/out board. Completes other agency forms as required. Initiates and maintains customers contact, including trade show follow up. Identifies and develops potential products and markets. Recommends new customers. Interfaces with administrative and production personnel to develop new/modified products anticipating new markets or customer needs. Interfaces with customer and production to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for maintaining vehicle, and other equipment such as cell phone, laptop computer, etc. Other duties as directed by the Director of Operations and/or the President.

What are the job requirements?

Outside sales experience and work experience in industry, and/or college degree in Business or Industrial Arts, with one-year industrial experience. High School Diploma - Drug Test - Criminal Background Check - PA Child Abuse Clearance - Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) - FBI Fingerprints - Valid Driver's License - Valid Auto Insurance.
