The Outside Sales Rep is a role tasked to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers. Owns the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with key customers in Eastern and Central Pennsylvania/ Hudson Valley, NY Market. This role is part of an integrated local sales team focused on delivering value to customers and achieving sales and margin growth expectations. Ensures superior value is delivered to customers in support of primary demand efforts. Responsible for promoting and selling Distribution's full range of products, including engineered wood, commodities, and specialty building products.
We manufacture and sell an innovative collection of proven structural framing materials to the residential, multi-family and light commercial markets, and provide seamless building solutions, from design to installation to support. This team moves fast, works smart and never stops pushing to be and stay number one in the industry.

Proven success supporting large and complex accounts, including building and maintaining key customer relationships, informing programs and promotions, and negotiating solutions to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communications skills (authentic, adaptive, persuasive). Analyzes the customer's business and develops solutions leveraging Distribution products and services. Successfully collaborates within a team environment and reaches across organizational and functional boundaries. Experience with building materials products. Familiarity with Distribution Center's products(Hardie Siding & Trim, Cedar, Pattern Stock) their selling features/benefits, and the competitive products around them.
