Graham Company, a division of Marsh & McLennan Agency, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm committed to creating a healthy, safe, and prosperous tomorrow. We value empathy, discipline, integrity, courage, and tenacity - and we are seeking an experienced Sales Professional who shares these values to join our team. The Sales Executive's primary responsibility is to find, engage and develop contacts with new clients and retain quality customers for the Graham division of Marsh & McLennan Agency. In addition, Sales Executives work closely with Account Managers and Consultants on the renewal of existing accounts.
Develop Quality Accounts: A Sales Executive should solicit accounts that meet Graham Company underwriting and revenue criteria. Subsequently, the Producer will be responsible for producing minimum annual revenue amounts.
Prepare Survey and Analysis on New Business: With few exceptions, the Sales Executive will use independent discretion and judgment to prepare and present a Survey and Analysis of a prospect's current insurance policies.
Market Account in First Year: On new business, the Sales Executive has the responsibility to use independent discretion and judgment for preparing an Underwriting Submission, as well as marketing the account to insurance companies. The Sales Executive is also responsible for preparing and presenting the written proposal to the insured.
Work with Account Managers throughout Renewal Process: The Sales Executive should work with Account Managers to be sure that accounts are satisfactorily managed through the annual policy period and are being renewed properly and that the broadest coverage is obtained for the insured at a reasonable premium. The Sales Executive should spot-check the Account Manager's renewals, letters, billings, etc. to be sure his/her accounts are being serviced in a thorough and timely manner. The Sales Executive is also responsible for supporting the Account Manager to develop a close working relationship with his/her accounts. The Sales Executive works closely with the Account Managers to bond the Account Manager to the account.
Assist in Claims Advocacy Process: The Claims Services Department handles the majority of claims situations. However, in unusual or sensitive claim situations where the Claims Services Department requests the assistance of the Sales Executive, the Sales Executive should work with the insured and/or the insurance carrier.
