Billing Sales Support Specialist
We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll provide critical account support aligned with service level expectations (SLEs), responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries. You'll collaborate across departments to resolve customer challenges and ensure a seamless experience tailored to individual business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues, documenting actions in Salesforce and contributing to SOP development.
- Lifecycle Support: Support customers from onboarding through ongoing service, including coordinating price changes and contract updates.
- Billing System Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of internal billing systems to ensure accurate setup of billing groups and pricing.
- Reporting & Audits: Conduct pricing audits and generate reports using PowerBI, Tableau, and Salesforce. Build and monitor reports, resolving discrepancies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and vendors (Compliance, Tech Support, Finance, Billing IT) to resolve operational issues.
- Data Analysis & Troubleshooting: Investigate data quality and pricing discrepancies using Salesforce, SCM, and billing systems.
- Contract & Pricing Coordination: Partner with Sales to ensure accurate pricing setups and perform daily/ad hoc code reviews.
- Account Structure & Quality Checks: Review account billing structures and validate product enablement and pricing across systems.
- Operational Support: Assist sales, product management, and operations with account maintenance, reporting, and customer inquiries.
- Technical & Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of company solutions and escalate complex technical issues as needed.
- Project Work: Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on data research, operational efficiency, and contract maintenance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain customer reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in customer service, client support, or account management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail and time management
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
