Customer Marketing Role

The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the Customer Marketing objectives of the unit on a month and yearly level. This role also looks after customer complaints with respect to our products from consumers and trade.

Responsibilities

  1. Working around the principles of target setting for FMO/Brand/Contest and sharing it with the team in time.
  2. Executing the MSL Compliance at a unit level - Target setting, Store performance check, Follow up with the team with regular updates on performance. Prepare the perfect store upload formats.
  3. End-to-end execution of wholesale PEP program- Cross-check the targets, outlet performance, outlet enrolments, outlet redemption, DB claims about PEP (coordinate with the finance team).
  4. Brand QPDS budget allocation working and sharing the same with the team in time.
  5. Evaluating/calculating/cross-checking the final spends for all the activities of the month. FMO/Quaker QPDS Salty claims. Post confirmation on spends, to collaborate with BU team to take IO and share with unit finance team to clear all claims in time.
  6. Managing and executing assets- All assets, like racks, hangers and other POSM to be planned, allocated and executed in the market. Coordinating with BU team on asset movements and collaborating with the supply chain team and CFA team to unload and bill the same ahead with proper approvals.
  7. End-to-end vendor management- In case of market activations, to align and close on the best market rates for the articles decided. To onboard the vendor in PI, raise purchase orders with proper approvals, ensuring the delivery from the vendor in time, follow up on bill submissions from vendor in time and follow up on vendor payments to be cleared in time. Need to collaborate with IBM and finance team for a smooth closure.
  8. Building up the competition rate and pricing tracker for the unit every quarter. Need to do market work collect accurate data from the marketplace.
  9. Daily follow-up with the team on regular business agendas (Premium, NPD and focus brands).
  10. Sharing trackers with the unit team on key agendas on time

Qualifications

Minimum qualification: Graduate | MBA Preferred

Experience of general trade for 2 years in an FMCG company would be an added advantage

Functional Requirement:

  • Data management and advanced excel skills.
  • Data analysis.

Leadership Requirement:

  • Collaboration across sales teams
  • Beyond KPI tracking, a strong Result Orientation to motivate the teams and bring about a measurable improvement in KPI scores
  • Stakeholder Management with Business head office teams
