A global corporation providing products and services for the diagnostics, life sciences, food, environmental, industrial, and laboratory services markets.
Manage consumables inside sales activities, including handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and processing orders
Communicate proactively with distributors and direct customers by providing timely updates on order status, pricing, and product availability
Generate and qualify prospective customers through cold calling, and follow up with sales leads
Collaborate with the Consumables Sales Leader and Service Team to build strong customer relationships, drive sales, and promote consumable products to maximize revenue
Support revenue growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling consumables
Basic Qualifications
Degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
2–3 years of experience in laboratory technical sales-service; industry sales experience preferred
Ability to multitask and follow through with customers by organizing daily jobs effectively
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong persuasion skills and effective communication abilities
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; hands-on experience with SAP is an advantage
A team player who is also able to work independently with minimal supervision
