Internal Sales Consultant

An excellent opportunity exists to join Macquarie Asset Management as an Internal Sales Consultant. The Internal Sales team engages with financial advisors through virtual meetings, phone calls, and digital communications regarding our mutual fund and separate accounts product suite. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location. What role will you play? As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will be a key member of our Sales team, implementing tactical strategies using data to increase sales, prepare weekly action plans, retain assets, and cultivate new clients. You will develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of financial markets, Macquarie products and services, and the competitive landscape, and be able to discuss the array of products across all disciplines (fund objectives, portfolio structures, investment management process and strategy benchmarks). Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce) for all advisor client activities, fielding inbound calls from partners and advisor clients, and sharing thoughtful sales ideas with the rest of the Internal Sales Consultants and Regional Directors.

What you offer Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or a related field, with some experience in selling financial products Experience with analyzing data to create a business plan and a willingness to act on the business plan through virtual meetings, phone calls, digital communications, and travel (5-10%) SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or SIE, 7, 63, and 65) preferred Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills, and a general willingness to grow a business through relationship-building.
