We have an exciting Sales role within our Health Research business with Ovid Technologies as a Senior Sales and Business Development Representative for Ovid Guidelines, an agentic GenAI solution. This solution supports end-to-end guideline lifecycle management by uniting researchers, expert panels, and review boards through a shared, auditable environment for coordinating projects and capturing key evidence, deliberations, and decisions over time.
The Senior Sales and Business Development Representative for Ovid Guidelines is responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with decision makers and influencers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new sales strategies for large societies and organizations publishing clinical guidelines. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from the Ovid Sales Team to establish new sales of Ovid Guidelines AI. Your role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our company. You will be focused on generating new business for a new solution and will be at the forefront of expanding our client base by forging valuable partnerships with Medical Societies and Health Organizations nationally.

Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 5+ years field sales experience, value-based selling skills, challenger sales methodology preferred, software or cloud sales experience, healthcare/medical market, understanding of how guidelines are created, importance of standards of care – value of guidelines, how medical evidence is fine-tuned into guidelines for the medical users, publishing, information, or health technology industry preferred, medical society contacts experience – understanding society goals, serving their membership, sales experience to societies - navigating society decision-making, knowledge about CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce)

Compensation: Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750
