The Business Sales Support is responsible for providing essential support to the business development team by ensuring efficient management of customer accounts, commercial agreements, and all-round administrative processes. This role is responsible for preparing and proofing customer commercial agreements, verifying agreements terms and conditions, and maintaining accurate sales data and reports. This role has a pivotal duty in supporting customer relationship building and ensuring an optimal coordination between the business development function, finance, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • To act and take ownership of customer queries and complaints, escalating these appropriately, whilst providing after-sales support.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve efficiently and professionally any customer queries or complaints.
  • Supporting the business development team with any administration, event or coordination they might require.
  • Prepare and proof customer commercial agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Check and validate commercial agreements terms and conditions
  • Compile and report sales figures, prepare quarterly presentation for management review
  • Manage invoices, payment and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to support retention and growth
  • Liaise with the finance department to provide sales forecast information, update credit limits and manage credit approvals
  • Monitor and manage past due accounts working with customers to agree payment arrangements
  • Oversee credit limit revisions, rebate payments processes and the issuing of credit notes
  • Ensure overall compliance of sales admin activities.
  • Continuously assess practices and suggest improvements to the service, enhancing customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of working in a similar role or experience
  • Experience in managing customer accounts, agreements and invoicing processes
  • Knowledge of credit limit and payment process
  • Experience working cross functionally with other departments
  • English language, written and spoken essential
  • Natural ability to be able to communicate with customers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
