PURPOSE:
This role is responsible for providing leadership to the North American FDM team in order to drive top-line and bottom-line growth across the Americas. This role will lead the growth of our club, and FDM channels and reinforce the current strategy while also building out new strategies of sale. Specifically, this position will oversee:
Development and implementation of strategic growth plans across key accounts to achieve sales goals and grow market share year over year, partnering with Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, Supply chain and other cross functional teams.
Development and implementation of sales strategies for Key Customers
Build and maintain client relationships to drive higher levels of client relationships and assist team in closing key opportunities.
Development trade strategies that deliver topline growth while delivering bottom line targets
Ultimately, this role will be responsible for getting our products on shelves in Walmart, Target and Sam's Club. Management of a third-party broker network as needed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
Attain Top and bottom line AOP objectives for CPG Sales Channels.
Develop and lead execution of short- and long-term strategic plans for CPG Sales channels.
Champion and support the FDM channels and their initiatives and needs with cross-functional departments to ensure the success in the channel.
Reinforce existing partnerships with Target, Walmart, Sam's Club to stabilize and build the CPG sales channels for our growth strategy.
Lead the innovation initiative in developing the Americas CPG market.
Develop presentations and reports around CPG Sales for Head of Wholesale, Americas and executive staff.
Work closely with Marketing Heads and Marketing Directors on strategic and operating priorities and ensure team is focused on deliverables.
Understand, embrace and leverage our full suite of product solutions (Promotions, Shopper, Media, Data, etc.) to be consultative and bring the right solutions to our customers.
Work with finance team to assess new and existing business financial viability and react as needed.
Manage the sales pipeline to ensure forecasting accuracy and delivery of quarterly goals.
Manage multiple projects and communication with cross functional teams.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential Criteria
Minimum Education Required: College Degree Preferred in related field.
Relevant work experience: 10 years+ in CPG and Mass Accounts experience a plus.
Experience in the confectionary category preferred, with a focus on selling to large national accounts.
Must be able to display a strong understanding of category management principles as well as analytical skills.
Exceptional communication skills, ability to prepare presentations and articulately deliver to managers, as well as Pladis senior management.
Strong negotiation and Customer presentation skills.
Emotional and professional maturity and poise (significant interaction with senior management and external customers).
Exposure to P&L in previous roles highly desired.
Desirable Criteria
Demonstrated team leadership experience mentoring, coaching and developing teams in a growth environment.
Self-starter/independent worker.
Comfortable with ambiguity.
Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change.
Previous experience in consumer marketing, shopper marketing or trade planning preferred.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
Base starting salary at $129,000/yr. The Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
