Partner Sales Manager

You will be managing, developing and coaching a diverse sales team, including taking the agreed sales strategy and executing on it to meet the business objectives within the region. This role is a key team member of the Sales Leadership team in New Zealand, reporting to the Director of Sales.
What You'll Do
- Lead and Coach the Sales Team: Lead the Northern Territory Partner Sales Team, including coaching, mentoring, and fostering a diverse, collaborative, and successful sales culture.
- Drive Financial Results: Own the Northern Territory sales management (planning, forecasting, and execution) to achieve and exceed all outlined Sales/Financial Metrics.
- Customer Growth & Retention: Ensure the team's strategies and execution successfully drive the Acquisition & Retention of subscribers within the territory.
- Operational Performance: Conduct performance reviews and development, and ensure formal account engagement plans are continually developed and reviewed.
- GTM Strategy Execution: Contribute to and actively drive the overall Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy specific to the Northern Territory.
- Enhance Team Capability: Focus on improving the sales team's skills and efficiency (measured through Improved Conversion Rates and Close Rates).
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure the CRM system is fully updated by the team to meet or exceed activity targets, and provide timely territory updates at weekly Sales Leadership Meetings.
- Collaboration & External Advocacy: Drive strong collaboration with internal partner resources (Marketing, Education, etc.) and effectively represent the company through public speaking and key partner engagements.
What You'll Bring With You
- Sales Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading, coaching, and motivating a sales team, coupled with an enthusiasm for building strong relationships and a winning team culture.
- Sales Target Achievement: Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Territory Management Expertise: Strong, proven experience in comprehensive territory and sales management.
- Strategic Representation: High proficiency in stakeholder management and the ability to effectively represent the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy in key forums.
- Autonomy & Ownership: Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work autonomously, paired with a process-driven approach and a strong sense of ownership.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
- Industry Knowledge & Network: Extensive industry knowledge, professional contacts, and networks.
- SME Software Market Knowledge (Desired): Strong market knowledge in current practice and of SME software competitor platforms (highly desirable).
