The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an integral part of Autodesk's sales team, you will drive the initial stages of the sales funnel. You will focus on engaging prospective customers by responding promptly to inbound inquiries, qualifying leads, educating prospects, and scheduling meetings for Sales Representatives. You will develop a robust pipeline of leads, supporting Autodesk's growth by transforming prospects into opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic communication.
We support hybrid working, you will report to the Senior Director, Field Sales.
Respond to Inquiries: You will engage with prospective customers through email, chat, and phone calls. Ensure timely and informative responses to inbound inquiries about Autodesk products
Qualify Leads: You will assess the needs and pain points of prospects to gauge their level of interest in Autodesk solutions. Use this information to qualify leads and identify those with the potential for conversion
Build and Maintain Pipeline: You will develop and sustain a pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and nurturing practices to maintain engagement and interest
Educate Prospects: You will provide clear and concise details on Autodesk's product features and value proposition, guiding prospects through the initial sales process and preparing them for further engagement
Schedule Meetings: You will arrange appointments and meetings for Sales Representatives and Executives
Achieve Outreach Targets: You will meet or exceed your goals, including the number of calls, emails, and meetings booked, contributing to the team's sales objectives
Record Keeping: You will maintain comprehensive and accurate notes and records of all prospect interactions in the CRM. This ensures data integrity, proper tracking of leads, and facilitates informed strategic decisions
Team Collaboration: You will participate in team meetings, offer insights, and collaborate with colleagues to refine and enhance outbound sales strategies
3+ year of experience in a business development or sales role, ideally in SaaS or construction technology
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Business fluency in English and German is mandatory
