Sales Representative – Level 2

The Sales Representative – Level 2 is responsible for managing and expanding customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting PCC Southwest United Industries' metal finishing and repair services. This mid-level sales role requires industry experience, strong technical understanding, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers in a competitive market.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Promote and sell metal finishing, coating, and component repair services to current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and understand future needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in metal finishing.
  • Accurately maintain customer and sales activity data in the ERP/JMS system.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events as a company representative.
  • Provide periodic sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in metal finishing, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of plating, coating, anodizing, or similar metal finishing processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using JMS or similar ERP systems for tracking orders and quotes (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including visits to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and conduct presentations for extended periods.
