Account Specialist (Sales)

Proconex is the exclusive Emerson Impact Partner for Emerson Automation Solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. Account Specialist (Industrial Valves and Equipment and PLC Automation Sales)

We are seeking an early career Account Specialist to join our Emerson Impact Partner team. This is a role for someone to grow into as we will provide formal and on-the-job training of our sales techniques. You will begin with our smaller accounts, then build out those accounts via excellent customer service and account management. Great opportunity with professional team support for industrial sales of Emerson product line, including valves and equipment. 1- 5 years of industrial sales experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned geographic region
  • Drive sales growth and increase market share for our industrial valves, PLC automation and equipment offerings
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, product demonstrations, and training sessions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep informed of industry trends and competitor activities to continuously improve our sales strategies

Requirements

  • Sales experience in industrial equipment, medical, food and beverage, or chemical products, ideally 1-5 years
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
