Role Description
As the Vice President of Sales, you will oversee Sales Managers and the broader sales organization, setting the strategy and execution plan for driving revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing the overall sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Leading, coaching, and scaling a high-performing team of Sales Managers and Account Executives.
- Driving sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting.
- Partnering with the executive team to align sales strategies with corporate objectives and product roadmaps.
- Building executive-level relationships with key customers and partners.
- Establishing best practices for sales processes, methodologies, and team performance.
- Representing sales perspectives in cross-functional leadership discussions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software sales, with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles.
- Track record of scaling SaaS sales organizations and delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of selling into government contractors and regulated markets.
- Expertise with Salesforce and sales analytics tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
Requirements
- Experience managing multi-level sales teams (Sales Managers and Account Executives).
- Proven success in building sales strategies and executing at scale.
- Ability to work remotely, must be based in Reston, VA area.
Education
