- This role involves building a strong sales pipeline while also closing deals and exceeding annual sales targets. - The VP, Health Plan Sales will act as a trusted consultant and advisor to external parties, gaining insights into their pain points and buying needs. - The position requires collaboration with various internal teams, including product, marketing, finance, and legal, to facilitate the sales process. - The candidate will be responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of Progyny's value proposition and offerings. - Regular meetings with C-Suite executives will be necessary to align with the strategy and goals of client organizations.

âš¡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of healthcare experience, particularly in health plans or third-party administrators (TPAs). - A strong background in health plan delivery is preferred, with experience working directly in a plan or servicing a plan. - The candidate should have demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts and projects, focusing on scale and growth. - Proven ability to build a robust pipeline of opportunities and successfully close deals is essential. - The candidate must possess strong healthcare acumen and knowledge of employer benefits and the health plan landscape.
