Business Development Representative (BDR)
This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client's time zone.
Our client operates within the commercial safety training industry, providing coaching systems and safety training solutions designed to support organizations across public-sector and commercial markets. They work with industries including EMS, fire departments, fleet operations, insurance, and risk management organizations, helping improve safety, compliance, and operational performance through specialized training programs.

Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will support pipeline growth by generating new business opportunities across public-sector and commercial markets throughout the United States and Canada. This role focuses heavily on outbound prospecting, relationship-building, lead qualification, and high-volume outreach efforts designed to drive revenue impact and pipeline growth.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working within a metrics-driven environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, consistent outbound activity, and the ability to convert warm and cold leads into qualified meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Generate new business opportunities through cold outreach to net-new prospects.
- Execute warm outbound outreach using marketing and event-generated lead lists.
- Conduct timely follow-up with inbound leads and prospect inquiries.
- Set qualified meetings for Account Executives across multiple target industries and organizations.
Target Market Outreach
- Engage prospects across:
- EMS and ambulance services
- Fire departments
- Fleet and commercial driver operations
- Insurance carriers and risk management organizations
- Safety associations and membership groups
Multi-Channel Outreach Execution
- Conduct high-volume outreach through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and digital prospecting efforts.
- Build and maintain strong early-stage pipeline activity across multiple verticals.
- Support post-event and conference follow-up to convert attendee lists into qualified meetings and opportunities.
CRM Management & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline visibility, and lead management within HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership to improve outreach messaging and prospecting strategies.
- Ensure organized follow-up and consistent communication throughout the sales process.
Performance & Pipeline Contribution
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly meeting targets and pipeline contribution goals.
- Support overall sales growth through high-quality prospect engagement and handoff processes.
- Contribute to improved pipeline velocity and revenue influence through proactive outreach efforts.
Qualifications
Experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, outbound sales, or business development role.
- Proven experience generating meetings through cold outreach and prospecting efforts.
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Exposure to EMS, fire, public safety, fleet, transportation, driver training, insurance, risk management, or safety/compliance industries is a plus.
