Serpa Packaging Solutions is looking for a highly self-sufficient Sales Assistant to join our team! As our Sales Assistant, you will contribute to the success of the company as a key owner of the front office area! You will manage the front office and be able to support the Sales department with work overflow, data entry, customer quotations, sales reports, and much more!

Requirements:

• Effectively managing our front office on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
• Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges
• Check visitors in and direct or escort them to the specific destinations within Serpa
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Accurate and timely processing and data entry of all communication related to a sale including quotes, order entry, confirmations, acknowledgements and URS documents
• Compile and create quotes for new equipment sales, which includes the following:
• Processing RFQ "Request for Quote" forms
• Managing the quotes from start to finish
• Distribute quotes to Sales and additional department staff as necessary
• Send out final quotes to Regional Sales Managers and/or Customers

Desired Requirements:

• One plus years' experience in office setting, familiarity with phone systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to deal with important customer calls in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations
• Ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role, be organized and have excellent time management skills
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Previous Sales experience is a plus

Base Hourly Range: $20.00 - $25.00
