Join our dynamic team at Proximus Wholesale where we open our fixed, mobile and data assets to alternative operators, service providers, OTTs and System Integrators to maximise the value of our network, platforms and assets.
About Us
Within the Network Business Unit (NBU), Proximus Wholesale acts as a business channel of Proximus to monetise our assets externally and as a facilitator to establish strategic partnerships with other infrastructure players, contributing to our goal of building the best Gigabit network for Belgium.
Our customers include Global operators (AT&T, BT, Verizon, Colt, …), Domestic operators (EDPnet, Dstny, ...), System Integrators (Cegeka,…), Mobile players (Orange, Telenet, Digi), MVNOs (Yoin, Sewan, …) and OTT players (Google, Apple, Facebook, …) offering solutions to both residential and professional markets. Our portfolio consists of a mix of commercial and regulated services in voice, (internet) access and (professional) connectivity evolving to cope with the softwarisation evolution.
Your Role
To support our ambitions, we are reinforcing our Sales & Pre-Sales team with a Sales Key Account Manager. This Role involves running, developing and transforming the business with our existing, new and upcoming fixed business partners.
Your Responsibilities
In close collaboration with other departments and their stakeholders within our Business Unit, you will:
- Manage a specific fixed customer portfolio, handling wholesale customers' business and relations end-to-end including daily interactions, business development, relationship building, negotiation (commercial technical, financial and contractual), closing deals, implementation and high-level follow-up.
- Take full accountability for the financial plan, ensuring close monitoring of business evolution and setting up commercial boost actions to maximize value for the Group.
- Secure existing partnerships and constantly seek business development and extension based on the wholesale strategy.
- Continuously chase additional peripheral business with partners and extend scope towards new relevant business types based on market evolution.
- Optimize overall business approach across long-lasting partnerships, collaborating with colleagues and aligning with the wholesale strategy.
- Manage all external and internal stakeholders up to C-level.
- Focus on customer satisfaction in close collaboration with the other wholesale teams.
Your Profile
You are a hands-on sales professional with a strong commercial business drive whereas you combine customer focus with a result-driven mindset.
- You have a proven sales track record in similar business situations, especially in fixed data/connectivity business and ICT with solid technical understanding of our products and solutions.
- You can build/define a sustainable business model with the customer. You are a dealmaker, an experienced negotiator (commercial/technical/contractual) with a closing mindset and stress resistant.
- Ideally, you have a good knowledge of the wholesale market and dynamics. If not, you are a quick learner with a strong eagerness to learn.
- You have strong stakeholders' management skills, and you are capable of building strong collaborations and relationships leading to sustainable bilateral value creation.
- You have an in-depth knowledge of the Proximus organization and a strong internal network.
- You are an autonomous worker and a team player willing to learn and support colleagues.
- You have strong analytical capabilities and mind-set.
- You are a strong communicator in 3 different languages: French, Dutch and English
