The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for Hyatt House LA - University Medical Center. This role drives revenue through proactive sales, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and maximizing market share in extended stay, corporate, and group segments. The Director of Sales partners closely with the General Manager and revenue team to position the hotel competitively within the market while ensuring Hyatt's standards of service and hospitality are met.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales leadership experience; extended stay or select-service hotel experience highly desirable. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals. Strong knowledge of sales principles, negotiation, and closing techniques. Proficiency in hotel sales systems (Hyatt systems experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel locally and regionally for sales calls, client meetings, and industry events.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00/Yr. - $115,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
