Cloud Pre-Sales Manager

About the role: We are looking for an experienced Cloud Pre-Sales Manager to join our team and help drive enterprise cloud transformation for our clients. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong business acumen, as you'll collaborate with customers, sales teams, and partners to design tailored cloud solutions and guide them through their digital journey. We're open to candidates without formal people management experience, as long as you have strong technical expertise, client engagement skills, and a strong motivation to step up into a leadership role!

As a Presales Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design the right AWS-based solutions.
  • Lead technical pre-sales discussions, solution architecture design, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Partner with sales and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions.
  • Help customers embrace modernization, security, and AI-driven transformation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Present and demonstrate cloud-based services and solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and participate in solution design and proposal development.
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects to validate solution effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure solutions align with customer goals.
  • Document solution architecture and ensure smooth handover to the delivery team.
  • Continuously learn and share knowledge about the latest AWS and AI technologies.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • AWS or other Cloud certifications (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity and Data solutions is an advantage.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Computing, IT Infrastructure, or Information Security.
  • Strong experience with AWS services (Google Cloud or Azure experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to design or support secure, scalable cloud architectures.

Skills & attributes:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • High energy, self-motivated, result-oriented, and passionate about technology.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills and adaptability under pressure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing FinOps strategies for cost optimization.
  • Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Previous team leadership or mentorship experience is a plus (formal management experience not required).
