Quirk Auto Group is looking for motivated individuals to join our sales team at Quirk Chevrolet Portland. We are looking for the right person to provide customers with product information and excellent customer service to ensure a positive buying experience. Unlike some local auto dealerships, Quirk sales representatives can sell any and all brands Quirk offers. Take advantage of the opportunity to sell Chevrolet, Fiat/Alfa, and any of our over 600 used vehicles statewide.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect on a day-to-day basis by phone, mail, and person-to-person – maintain a prospect development system
  • Work with our CRM system to manage your sales pipeline, convert internet leads, and maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Forecast goals with the Sales Manager at the beginning of each month
  • Understand the dealership's inventory on a daily basis
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Must meet company's requirements for employment
  • Prior sales experience (Auto, Real Estate, Insurance, Wireless, etc.) is preferred, but we will train competitive individuals.
  • Experience in goal-driven environments, high-ticket retail, or commission-based roles.
  • Ability to build rapport and overcome objections.
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Must have a valid state driver's license
  • Professional attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment
  • Business dress code
  • Prolonged periods of personal computer usage and data entry
  • Ability to operate an automobile
  • Exposure to inclement weather
